Moving within Chicago.

This company was the first time I have a good experience with moving. they were on-time, didn't break anything and worked hard. It was also worth paying a little more for 4 men.

Moved from a 2 bedroom walk-up apartment in Evanston to a 2 story townhouse in Mundelein.

The crew of 4 men showed up on time and started working immediately. Despite the steady rain, the entire move took only 3 hours from start to finish (we had very little furniture, but lots of boxes). We would highly recommend this company, and we would certainly use them in the future!

Moved household goods from an 1100-sq. ft. house + basement to town home on first floor. They did an excellent job. Jerry came out and gave me an estimate and, with the exception of the cost of extra boxes I needed on the day of the move, he was right on target! His per-hour prices were less than another company and equal to a company that sounded very unprofessional.

He gave me quite a few free boxes and bubble-wrap and told me ways I might save money. They only delivered the boxes if I bought $50 worth of additional ones, which I did. Nothing phased the 5 movers he sent. Whatever I needed to have done, they did it, including moving a 7-foot-high trellis with plant attached.

When I asked if they could come later to begin the move, they were very accommodating and did say they could come 1/2 hour later. When the day came, the movers never got the message and came on time. Also, you could probably get cheaper boxes elsewhere, but their free ones helped make up for the cost.

Moved us twice. First moved contents of two-bedroom apartment into storage. One month later, moved stored items, along with items from temporary housing, into new home. Our experience with usa moving was excellent. They were absolute professionals and handled our stuff with the utmost care.

They carefully packaged and wrapped our oversized items. They showed up exactly when they said they would. there was no dawdling, they worked hard the entire time and as a result, our move was unbelievably quick. Their office staff was helpful and courteous. Our move was a breeze, thanks to them.

Moved us from a five room house to a nine room house, quite a bit of furniture and many, many, many boxes. The destination was newly renovated with various challenges including internal (stairs) and external(mud). The price includes a tip which was well-deserved. They charge by the hour, based on number of workers, plus some extras for certain expenses.

The crew was efficient, helpful, took a positive approach to solving problems, and very careful not to damage house or contents. We moved approximately the same goods last year using a different company. In comparison USA Storage was easier to deal with, and cheaper.

They packed us, and moved everything into storage for 5 weeks, and then moved us into our new home. They worked non-stop. They were professional and handled everything exceptionally well. They put everything where it belonged, and back together (furniture that had been taken apart).

They are a little expensive, but after the moving horror stories we've heard, the peace of mind they provided with their punctuality and professional handling was well worth it. I'd recommend them unreservedly.

Moved from city to suburb

I recommended them to my mother and she also used them and loved them. They quoted $1100 and came in under that. It was the fastest and quietest move I have ever had.

Moved from a townhouse into a ranch house. All of our furniture is over-sized, heavy and very awkward to move.

The movers treated our furniture as if it were their own. They had to contend with many problems such as narrow stairways and doorways. They were wonderful!

A team of four gentlemen arrived at my old address on the morning of September 2nd and quickly loaded all of my belongings onto the truck. Upon arrival at the new address, my belongings were again quickly unloaded.

The guys encountered an obstacle when my sofa did not fit in the building elevators, but they still delivered my sofa ? up 21 flights of stairs! I never heard one word of complaint over my obvious measuring errors.

The guys were really terrific, and I knew that my belonging were in safe hands during the entire move.

Moved all stuff from one bedroom to two bedroom. We had packed all our stuff in boxes and moved furniture to the middle of the living room. They wrapped and moved every piece of furniture and a ton of boxes.

It couldn't have gone more smoothly. They would have been finished with the whole project in under two hours (which is their minimum) however our new place has an elevator that was too small to move the sofa. In fact, the building engineer said they would never be able to get the sofa into our apt. from outside. Well the movers proved him wrong. They were very clever and found a way to get the sofa in and the whole project, start to finish, only took about 2.5 hours. They were timely, professional, and courteous. It was a great experience.

Santiago and his crew arrived on time. They worked quickly and efficiently and they were very polite and careful with our belongings. They completed the job more quickly than we expected, they charged us less than we expected, and all of our stuff arrived in perfect condition. We were thrilled with the experience and would recommend them to anyone.

The crew was at the storage facility on time. They were friendly and fast. They wrapped every piece in moving pads securely with packing tape. They were careful while transporting all the furniture to the truck. They placed every piece exactly where I asked.

We had been in the house for 15 years, and it was a lot of stuff. They had two use three trucks in order to move us out. The packing took around 9 hours with four packers the first day, and the next morning they came with 8 guys. They packed for another 2 hours, and moved us into the new house and set up the furniture by 4 in the afternoon. I wanted to mention it was Javier's crew, and I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. He was remarkably efficient, had an amazing memory, and his crew was just superior. Nothing was broken, and everything was well-wrapped. Their attention to detail was amazing, and they worked very hard on the job. What I really liked about them as well was that they charged by the hour depending upon the amount of men that they send out, so you knew exactly what to expect.

It went very well. My initial email inquiry generated a call back within an hour. I received a quote over the phone and set up an appointment. Three movers showed up as expected a few minutes early. They moved quickly & carefully. They were very patient when I wanted a few more things moved at the last minute. Great experience.

Javier and company arrived as scheduled, worked quickly, efficiently, but carefully. The crew was friendly and helpful, and respectful of my belongings. In at least one case, left items in BETTER shape than when we started. Move completed in the time estimated. Overall, an excellent experience. I would recommend them highly.

The movers came on a Sunday and got all of our stuff packed up and ready. The next day they loaded the truck and took everything over to the new place. Then they brought all our stuff (furniture, boxes) up the two flights of stairs to our new apartment and unpacked everything for us. They were amazing workers and very professional.

The movers arrived around noon with a large truck (not the huge 18 wheeler I was expecting). An assessment was made that another truck would be needed to assist the four movers and the large truck. The lead mover made a call and we were assigned two more movers with a large truck to show up in about two hours, which they did. We were moved very, very efficiently by six movers who were very, very professional. The move was nine hours. My niece and I are impressed with how all things were handled. Cash payment was required, so at one point we were nervous that we did not bring enough. The movers were fast, but we had miscalulated the time, so paying by cash lessened a great gratuity. The additional truck cost us more by the hour (for seven hours we paid a much higher rate). Having the move done in a huge 18 wheeler truck (one truck) would have saved us dollars.

Reservation was really easy to book and I only gave them 1.5 weeks notice and they didn't mind at all. They called to reconfirm the day before a couple of times, since I was packing and didn't hear the phone. I'm glad they did make this extra effort or it might have slipped my mind, with all the details. The guys were a little later than their estimated arrival time, but they didn't charge me for their lateness. They were super courteous and moved everything in just 2 hours. Barely any scuffs or breakage, and that kind of thing can happen even if you're getting help from your friends. I barely had to lift a finger to do anything. They were like a machine!

This is a reliable, responsive, professional company. They sent two guys on one day's notice at the end of May, which is a really busy time for movers. The movers who came were friendly, punctual, and very careful with our belongings, as well as the walls, floors and doorways. They moved large desks and cabinets, and didn't leave a scratch anywhere. They did whatever I asked them, and were very nice about it. They even were very clever and patient about getting large unwieldy items around tight corners and through narrow doorways. It was difficult work, and I'm glad I hired it out. It was definitely worth the money.

They were fantastic, which made it a wonderful moving experience. They were really patient and helped me figure out some tight spaces. They came up with great solutions! Nothing was lost or broken! They were a pleasure to work with! They were punctual and incredibly hardworking!

This is the fifth time we've used USA Moving and Storage and I can't imagine ever using anyone else. They're quick, professional and take great care while moving our possessions.

These guys were GREAT. They showed up on time and worked very fast and carefully. Even before the truck was moved around back, they started to take boxes downstairs. They were very careful with all of our belongings. We had no broken or damaged items. When we arrived at the move-in location, they placed everything in the rooms we had indicated on the boxes. If a box wasn't labeled, they asked us where to put it. They ended up coming in well under the estimate provided to me over the phone for a 3 bedroom apartment. We were very pleased with every step of this move: setting up the move over the phone, receiving an estimate, and the actual moving day.

After living in the same building for more than 20 years, with flooding and other plumbing problems,and a huge book collection, preparing for a move to another apartment was a huge job. I packed for 3 days, but was still nowhere near ready when Javier and his crew showed up. They finished the packing in about 2 hours, and moved me efficiently into my new home.

They packed and moved my computer and my video and audio equipment with no damage. For a rush job under difficult conditions, they seem to have done a very impressive job. I have found nothing missing or damaged in the slightest. They protected the electronic equipment well, and wrapped my desk in such a way that they could turn it sideways or upside down without losing any of the contents of the drawers.

Moved three bedroom home from Chicago to Milwaukee.

This is the best company we have ever used. Santiago and team were prompt, polite, careful, not a single broken item, or damage to either home. They were very efficient..no standing around chatting like every other moving company we've hired. We were very impressed and cannot say enough positive things about them. Very, very hard working!!!

Javier and his crew arrived at the hour we had set for the starting time. They were hard-working, and clearly had a lot of experience; they didn't need a lot of explaining from Javier on what to do next. There certainly wasn't any standing around slacking.

They were amazingly fast! They were very talented when it came to getting large items out of doors and around corners. They also had to manually hoist my mattress, wooden desk, and wooden file cabinet up to the second floor. The only stairs up to the second floor were spiral which made it impossible to use for these large items. They securely wrapped all of my furniture before it left the apartment. 2 of the guys also helped me put together some Metro shelving because the TV had to be placed on it. They were very professional and extremely efficient. The movers I hired last time seem like the 3 Stooges in comparison to these guys. I saved $150 from my last move because the USA guys were so efficient. The woman I worked with when scheduling my move and picking up my free boxes was very pleasant and knew the business well. I highly recommend USA moving to anyone. Also, my new building manager wanted to know what company moved me because they really knew what they were doing.

Crew were on time despite having to drive from Skokie during morning rush hour in heavy rain. They were very hard-working, efficient and careful with our furniture. One of the guys even fixed a bookshelf that was coming apart.

Movers arrived on time, were courteous and took all the steps necessary to protect our belongings. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and service. Next time I move, I will use USA again.

Very good experience. The guys worked quickly and were careful with our furniture. All the furniture was blanket wrapped. And there's no way we could have gotten the couch into the basement of our new home without them. They confirmed the appointment the day before, and called when they were en route that afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

I was very pleased with my move. The trucks and men arrived within the expected time. The men took care of my things ensuring that they did not damage my walls or the furniture. They were professional and courteous. If I would move again, I would call upon USA Moving.

Another great experience with USA Moving. These men are even careful about how they move around in your house-- they put things down gently and are quiet and focused on their work, which was especially nice because these were family heirlooms being passed on from my aunt to me and she was so happy with the care the movers took. They were very responsive to any request made and were done before we knew it. They disassembled the table, wrapped it carefully, then reassembled it upon delivery. As with our previous move with USA, not a scratch on anything.

Everyone we talked to was helpful and responsive; the crew was right on time, efficient and pretty amazing to watch. The price ended up being a little more than I'd expected, but it was totally worth it.

USA Moving was GREAT. We were given a start window of 8-9am, and they arrived at 8am sharp. Before I knew it, all of the boxes in our home were gone! Santiago and his team (4 members in total) worked non-stop and were extremely quick yet ensured that every piece of furniture was fully protected. I have never seen harder, more diligent movers. All of them were also very pleasant and had no problems with my numerous special requests. The overall move took 10 hours since we have several very large pieces of furniture, some of which require disassembly in order to move out of our unit. We also completely filled the truck so a separate trip had to be made to our storage unit. The price was very fair - their were no hidden extras, and the pricing for additional materials was much less than we expected. Overall, this was a fantastic experience.

The office staff was friendly and informative. The moving company sent four very hardworking employees. They padded all the furniture and wrapped all the upholstered furniture, mattresses, box springs, etc. with film to keep them clean. They pointed out prior damage. So far, we have not found any damage to our furniture or to walls. They carefully disassembled and reassembled desks and tables. The men were very pleasant and took direction very well. We got good value and they were very careful. I have moved a dozen times...this was the best move.

Moved a large houseful of belongings in under the estimated time by 2 hours. I had done all the packing, but after 36 years of residence in same house, there were a lot of boxes. The men were careful and efficient.

Fast! I didn't have much to move - I had packed a lot beforehand - but the move was completed in less than 3 hrs, and I had anticipated at least 4. Having more than 2 movers makes a difference, I think. The team was very efficient, packed my stuff well, and were very courteous. Even helped me arrange some furniture. The people in the main office were friendly and returned my initial call promptly.

USA Moving was WONDERFUL! I can't say enough good things about them! The 4 person team started working from the minute they arrived on the premises. The team was early, worked efficiently and cooperatively, carefully packed all furniture, placed and assembled everything for immediate use. The move basically took 4 hours. Against all other estimates, it was worth the extra money for a 4 person team. Ilanit at the office provided good help with preparing us for the move as well as good follow up service. They also provided 10 free boxes good for packing smaller items. I definitely recommend them!

Santiago & his crew (4 people total) arrived to our storage unit right on time. They had everything from a 10 X 20 storage unit wrapped in blankets and in their truck within 2 hours. After the drive to our house all items were placed where we wanted and done in less than 2 hours. Total was 4 hours to move all items. Another plus was the fact that they had no problem removing their shoes while moving items in the house since it is brand new with fresh carpet and hardwood flooring.

This was the best moving experience I've ever had in 13 years in Chicago. They actually showed up early! The four movers they sent were all very courteous and efficient. They loaded and cleaned at all three places in under 3.5 hours. I would recommend them to anyone for a residential move. They were fantastic!

Santiago was the leader of a crew of six who moved us. They were unbelievable - so efficient, so professional, so fast and so STRONG! We were very happily surprised by the price. I had budgeted double what the cost turned out to be. I can't say enough about these men. They worked nonstop and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. There was no breakage and everything that needed to be wrapped was very well protected. Again, the price blew me away. My husband tipped extravagantly as a result because they deserved it.

Javier and the guys were pleasant, hard-working, well-organized, and fast. They charge by the hour, and there was NO gold-bricking. They finished faster than their initial estimate, and the folks in the office at the apartment complex said they had never seen a move go so fast. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and I've found it's rare to have a moving day with no casualties. Aces!

The movers arrived within the scheduled time period (they said between 8-9am, and they arrived at roughly 8:55), they carefully packed and loaded my furniture and boxes, and they unloaded it with remarkable speed and determination. They finished the job in two hours, which is the minimum amount of time you can hire the movers for. So, for 4 guys, 2 hours, and the tape/mattress wrap charges, I spent $340. My best advice for anyone thinking of hiring movers would be to prepare as thoroughly as you possibly can. If you have EVERYTHING packed and ready to go in one central area of your home, preferably a room close to where they will move the furniture, you will save yourself money. I had everything packed and ready to go, and they were able to concentrate on moving. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for myself.

They were on time, extremely nice, and quite professional. They came highly recommended from some. It couldn't have worked out better. We were expecting a cost of about $1300-$1500. They worked very fast (going up and down the 4 flights of steps) and the quality couldn't have been better. Everything went smoothly. Very pleased. Because they worked so quickly, the price came down to $800.

The workers were wonderful! They were very careful and made sure all the boxes were put where we wanted them. Not one thing was broken! They were on time to pick up the boxes and to drop off too. I went to the office to pick up boxes (10 free boxes) and the woman in the office was extremely helpful. She offered great advice on what to pack in the different size boxes. Although I hope to not move for a long time, I will definitely use USA Moving for future moves!

We were very impressed by the job they did. After all the horror stores we had hart about using movers, we were pleasantly surprised at how easy our move was. They were very nice, worked hard and moved our stuff with great care. They made our moving day very stress free and easy. They worked very quickly and efficiently. The movers were right on time, very professional, and got my move finished very quickly. The price was reasonable (I was a little nervous about tape and packaging being extra, but that turned out to be no big deal), and I'm very happy with my experience.

They love to wrap and blanket everything, which adds to the time a bit- but it does ensure everything arrives unscratched or broken. We had several awkward pieces, including a large fridge and antique sofa and the did a great job of negotiating all stairwells, doorways and turns without damaging the walls for furniture. They take great care and work very hard. This is my 4th time using them for a move and I would definitely use them again.

The guys moved things out very quickly - one place was moved out in 2 hours and the other 1.5 hours and into the new place even faster. These guys do an amazing job! The thought of spending the entire day moving ourselves was not something we wanted to entertain. USA Moving proved to us the money was worth it!

This move could not have gone any more smoothly. We have used other movers in the past (and paid more) and have always had problems of some sort. Ilanit helped me set everything up over the phone. The guys who came to move were so professional, efficient, and courteous. They carefully wrapped up our larger items that were not boxed. They efficiently loaded their truck despite our narrow hallways and small elevator. We were not moving into our new home right away, so they inventoried our belongings and held them in storage for us at no extra charge. When we were ready to move, they loaded the truck with all of our things, came to my parents' house where we had a lot more boxes and furniture in storage, loaded it up, and finally brought everything to our new house. Absolutely none of our boxes were damaged, and they did not put a scratch on a wall anywhere. Moving day was very snowy and they made sure the floors in the new house stayed dry. We highly recommend these movers.
